Tom Friedel - Prospector

Mr Ted Moores, Having spent many years in Canada and done lots of canoeing, I was always a fan of the cedar strip construction ....and especially those from Bear Mountain.Unfortunately the canoes available in Australia are pretty ordianary, so I finally decided to build one, Based on a Bear Mountain (Prospector)design.?Not sure whether this is the first Bear Mountain designed canoe in Australia or not, but I thought you might like to see the end result of your 15 ft Prospector model . Just launched it and it handled beautifully and I look forward to much enjoyment in the years to come. Kind regards Tom Friedel
